Creating your account

Signing up for SpiceMatch takes about a minute. You do not need a card to start, because the free tier works without one. Here is what the sign-up asks for, why, and what to do right after.

What you need

To create an account you need:

• An email address. This is your login and where account and billing notices go.
• A password. Pick something you do not use elsewhere.
• Your date of birth. You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

That is the whole list. No phone number, no card, no ID at sign-up.

The age confirmation

At sign-up everyone confirms their date of birth and acknowledges that the service contains adult content. No adult content shows before you pass that gate. This is not optional and it is not a checkbox you can skip.

In some places the law goes further than a self-reported birth date. In US states and countries whose rules require a commercial age check, there is an extra verification step through a third-party provider before any adult content is viewable. We figure out which rule applies from your IP address. If you are in one of those regions, see how age verification works for what to expect. If you are not, the birth-date confirmation is all you do.

Choosing a username

You pick a display name for the app. It does not have to be your real name, and we would suggest it is not. Your companions never know your real identity. Using a handle keeps it that way and keeps your account separate from anything else you do online.

What happens after sign-up

Once your account is created, you land in the app and can start matching immediately. Swipe through the roster, match with a few companions, and open a chat. You have 10 free chats a day to start, no card needed.

If you want photos, video, or more chat headroom later, you add credits or a subscription from the account area. You will see every price at checkout before you confirm, and you can pay by card through a discreet descriptor or in crypto through ATLOS.

Keeping your account secure

A few habits that help:

• Use a unique password. If you reuse one and another site leaks, your account is exposed.
• Keep your email secure, since password resets go there.
• Do not share your login. Your account, your chats, and any credits or subscription are tied to it.
