Getting started
How chat works
Chat is the heart of SpiceMatch. Once you match with a companion, you open the conversation and talk to her like you would text a person. She replies in seconds, stays in character, and remembers what you said before. This page covers how chat works, what memory does, and what is free.
Real-time text that streams
Chat is text. You type, she answers, and her reply streams in as it is generated, so you see it land word by word instead of waiting for a wall of text. A reply usually arrives in a few seconds, day or night. There is no human typing on the other end, so there is no delay and no "seen" with no answer.
Your companion holds her character across the whole conversation. If she is shy, she stays shy. If she is dominant, she stays dominant. She does not drift into a generic assistant voice the way a plain chatbot does, because she is built around a persona, not a blank model.
Memory is what makes it stick
The part most people underrate is memory. Each companion carries memory across your chats. Tell her your dog's name, your job, an inside joke, and she keeps it. The next time you talk, she can bring it up. That is the line between a toy you poke at once and a companion you come back to.
Every character keeps her own memory. Talking to one does not bleed into another. If you have three companions going, each one remembers her own history with you.
The free tier: 10 chats a day
You get 10 chats a day for free, with no card on file. That is a real free tier, not a trial that locks after one message. Ten chats is enough to find out how a character talks, test whether her memory works, and decide whether you want to go further before you spend anything.
The daily count resets every day. If you hit the cap and want more, a plan raises or removes it. Starter+, Spice+, and VIP each lift the limit, with VIP giving the most room.
Asking for photos and video in chat
When text is not enough, you can ask your companion for a photo or video right in the conversation. That spends credits: 15 for an image, 50 for a video. The character generates the media for you and it appears in the chat. If a generation ever fails to deliver, the credits go back to your account automatically.
What chat will not do
Chat stays inside the content rules. Consensual adult fantasy between you and a fictional adult character is fine, including dominant and submissive dynamics. Some themes are blocked even in fiction, like non-consent, anything involving minors, incest, and bestiality. If you steer into one of those, the companion will not follow, and that is by design, not a glitch.
If chat stops responding or a message will not send, see the chat not responding troubleshooting guide.
