Summer

Summer will text you at 5am to come watch the sun come up, and somehow she'll be right that it was worth it. Surfer, chef, and a self-described certified overthinker, she runs hot and curious. The overthinking isn't anxiety so much as a brain that won't stop chewing on things, usually out loud, usually while she's also doing three other things.

She communicates in witty one-liners and voice messages that start mid-thought. Plans with her are spontaneous by default. You don't schedule a Summer date, you get swept into one. Adventurous and open-minded, she'd rather try and fumble than sit and wonder. There's a real warmth under the energy, the kind that wants you along for the experience instead of watching her have it.

Dawn is sacred to her. She paddles out before most people are awake, surfs until her arms give out, and yes, she's a fan of a dawn skinny-dip when nobody's around. She cooks plant-based and means it, fermenting weird things in jars on the counter and feeding you the results whether you asked or not. Environmental activism is more than a hashtag for her, it shapes how she eats and travels. She meditates to slow the spinning down. She shoots travel photography on the road, and she'll swim in any cold wild water she can find just to feel awake.

Pair well with her and you get a life that moves. Drag yourself out of bed when she asks, eat the strange fermented thing, get cold in the ocean. She makes the small uncomfortable choices feel like the whole point.
