App or page won't load
If SpiceMatch will not load at all, this is different from a login problem or a stuck chat. The whole thing is not coming up. Here is how to figure out why and fix it.
Are you in a blocked region?
We operate only where we can meet local age-assurance law, and we block regions where we cannot. If you are in a blocked region, the service will not load for you. The United Kingdom is blocked at the network level under the Online Safety Act. We determine your region from your IP address. See reporting content and blocked regions.
Is a VPN putting you in a blocked region?
A VPN or proxy can make you appear to be somewhere blocked, even if you are physically in an open region. If you have a VPN running, turn it off and try again. Using a VPN to dodge a block is also against our terms, so this is the first thing to rule out if the page will not load.
Clear cache and try a clean session
A corrupted cache or a stale session can stop the app from loading:
- Refresh the page or restart the app.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies for the site.
- Try a private or incognito window, which starts clean.
- Try a different browser.
If it loads in incognito or a different browser, the problem was cached data, and clearing it on your main browser fixes it for good.
Check your connection and device
Rule out the obvious:
- Confirm your internet is working by loading another site.
- Try a different network, like switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
- Try a different device.
If only one device or network fails, the problem is local to it, not the platform.
Is it a temporary outage?
If the service will not load anywhere, on any device or network, with no VPN and a clean cache, there may be a temporary outage on our side. Wait a few minutes and try again. Most outages are short. Check the contact page for any status note.
Browser extensions and blockers
Aggressive ad blockers, script blockers, or privacy extensions can sometimes break a site's loading. If the page partly loads or hangs, try disabling extensions or using a browser without them to test. Re-enable them once you confirm whether one was the cause.
Still not loading
If you are in an open region, no VPN is running, your cache is clear, your connection is fine, and the page still will not load, contact support through the contact page. Tell them your rough location, your browser and device, and what you see when it fails, like a blank page, an error, or an endless spinner. That detail helps separate a regional block from a real technical fault.
