Locked posts and premium moments

Besides photos and video you ask for in chat, your companions share locked posts and premium moments you can unlock with credits. These are pre-made pieces of content, not something generated on request. Here is what they are and how they work.

What locked posts are

A locked post is a piece of content a companion has in her feed that you unlock to view. It might be an image or a video. Instead of asking for it in chat, you see it blurred or covered in her feed with a credit price on it. Pay the credits and it unlocks for you to view.

Premium moments work the same way. They are curated, higher-value pieces of content from a companion, unlocked with credits.

How to unlock one

The flow is simple:

1. Find the locked post or premium moment in a companion's feed or profile.
2. Check the credit price shown on it.
3. Confirm the unlock. The credits come out of your balance.
4. The content unlocks and you can view it.

You need enough credits in your account for the price shown. If you are short, you will be prompted to buy a pack. See how credits work.

What they cost

Locked posts and premium moments unlock with credits, at the price displayed on each one. The price can vary by the piece of content, so check the number on the post before you unlock. This is different from the fixed costs of chat media, where a photo is always 15 credits and a video always 50.

How they differ from chat media

Two kinds of media, two ways to get them:

• Chat photos and video are generated on request when you ask your companion. Fixed costs: 15 for a photo, 50 for a video.
• Locked posts and premium moments are existing content you unlock from the feed at the price shown.

Both spend credits. The difference is whether the content is made for you on the spot or already exists to be unlocked.

If an unlock fails

If you spend credits to unlock a post and it fails to deliver or display, the credits are re-issued automatically, the same as a failed chat generation. Are they worth it?

That is your call. If a companion's feed has content you want and the chat-generated photos are not scratching the itch, a locked post or premium moment is another way to get more. Since the price is shown up front, there is no guessing what an unlock costs before you commit.
