Your data and what we store

This page lays out what SpiceMatch keeps about you, in plain terms. The short version: we store what is needed to run your account and meet the law, and not much beyond that. Because every companion is AI, there is no human creator collecting data on you on the side.

Account information

We store the basics you give at sign-up:

  • Your email address, which is your login and where account and billing notices go.
  • Your password, stored hashed, not in plain text.
  • Your date of birth, which you confirm at sign-up to meet the 18+ requirement.
  • Your display name, which can be a handle and does not have to be real.

We do not ask for a phone number or government ID at sign-up.

Chat history and memory

Your conversations are stored so your companions have memory. That is the feature that lets a character remember your dog's name or last week's conversation. Without stored history, every chat would reset. Each companion's memory is tied to your account, and there is no human reading those chats, because there is no human creator.

Billing records

We keep billing records for payments you make: what you bought, when, and the amount. Card payments go through Segpay and carry a discreet descriptor. Crypto payments go through ATLOS. We retain the records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and support, the same as any service that takes payment.

Age verification data, where required

In regions whose laws require a commercial age check, you verify through a third-party provider before adult content shows. The verification runs on the vendor's systems. We store a pass or fail result and a reference token, not your ID images or document numbers. So even where verification is required, we are not holding your ID. See how age verification works.

Generation logs

For content produced on the platform, we keep technical generation logs: the AI model used, generation parameters, timestamps, and output identifiers. These exist to show that content is wholly synthetic and was not derived from recordings of real people. They are about the content, not surveillance of you.

What we do not do

A few things worth stating outright:

  • No human creator sees your chats, because there is no human creator.
  • We do not let users upload photos or video of real people for publication on the service.
  • We do not store your ID document images for age verification, only a pass or fail and a token.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account, which removes your account and data. See delete your account for exactly what gets erased and what we are required to retain. If you have a specific data question, like a request related to a privacy law where you live, reach out through the contact page and we will handle it.
