SpiceMatch delivers digital services right away, so the general rule is that sales are final. That said, there are real exceptions, and the most common one, a generation that fails, is handled automatically. Here is exactly when you get money or credits back and when you do not.

The general rule: sales are final

Because credits, chat access, and subscriptions are delivered the moment you pay, the default is that purchases are final. You are not buying a physical thing that can be returned. You are buying access and unlocks that work immediately. That is standard for digital services.

But "generally final" is not "no exceptions." There are specific situations where you do get something back.

Failed generation: credits re-issued automatically

This is the big one. If you spend credits on a photo or video and it fails to deliver, the credits are re-issued to your account automatically. You do not have to ask. The system detects the failure and puts the credits back, so you can try again or spend them elsewhere.

This applies no matter how you paid. Whether you bought the credit pack by card or in crypto, a failed unlock returns the credits. The credit re-issue is separate from the original payment, so it works even for crypto, where the payment itself cannot be reversed.

If a generation clearly failed and the credits did not come back, that is a bug worth reporting. See didn't get my credits for the steps.

Renewal after you cancelled

If a subscription renewal charged you after you had already cancelled, contact support. That is a billing error, not a final sale, and it should be put right. Have the date you cancelled and the charge date ready so support can sort it quickly.

Crypto payments are final

Crypto payments cannot be reversed, because blockchain transactions are one-way. There is no chargeback and no refund path for a confirmed crypto payment. This is true of crypto everywhere, not a SpiceMatch policy. The failed-generation credit re-issue still applies to crypto-funded credits, since that returns credits rather than reversing a payment.

Credits have no cash value

Credits are a license to use features, not money. They cannot be cashed out or converted back to a payment. Unspent credits sit in your account for you to use. Spent credits are final once the image or video is delivered. So a "refund" of credits means credits back in your balance, not money back on your card.

How to request a refund

For the situations that qualify, like a renewal after cancellation, contact support through the live chat widget at support.spicematch.ai or the channels on the contact page. Include your account email, the charge date and amount, and a short description of what happened. The clearer the detail, the faster it resolves.

For the failed-generation case, there is usually nothing to request, since the credits come back on their own. Check your balance first before opening a ticket.
