Paying with crypto (ATLOS)
SpiceMatch accepts crypto payments through ATLOS, alongside card payments. Crypto is there for people who want to keep card details out of it, avoid a bank flag on adult-adjacent charges, or just keep a purchase off their card history. You do not need to be a crypto expert to use it. Here is the whole flow.
How crypto checkout works
At checkout, pick crypto instead of card. The flow is simpler than people expect:
- Choose a plan or a credit pack and select crypto at checkout.
- ATLOS shows you an amount and a wallet address, usually with a QR code.
- Send the crypto from your own wallet or exchange account.
- The payment confirms on the blockchain, usually within a few minutes, and your account unlocks.
ATLOS handles the conversion and confirmation, so you are not doing anything technical beyond sending from a wallet. That is the entire job.
Why people choose crypto
The reasons are practical:
- Statement privacy. A crypto payment does not put a descriptor on a card statement a partner or parent might see.
- Avoiding bank declines. Some banks flag or block charges from adult-adjacent merchants. Crypto goes around the bank entirely.
- General preference. Some people just do not want every purchase living in card history.
If you want a card but with statement privacy, that is handled too. See discreet billing.
What shows up where
A crypto payment shows up on the blockchain and in your own wallet or exchange history, not on a card statement. There is no SpiceMatch line item on a bank statement because the bank is not in the loop. What your wallet or exchange records depends on that provider, not on us.
Crypto payments are final
This is the one thing to know before you send. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, so crypto payments are final. There is no chargeback path and no way for us to undo a confirmed crypto payment.
That makes the failed-generation safety net more important, and it still applies: if you spend credits on a photo or video that fails to deliver, the credits are re-issued automatically, regardless of how you paid for them. The credit re-issue is separate from the payment. What is final is the crypto payment itself, not your ability to get a failed unlock replaced.
Subscriptions paid in crypto
You can fund subscriptions with crypto as well as credit packs. Because crypto is not a stored card, renewals work a little differently than card auto-renew. Check the terms shown at checkout for how your plan renews when funded with crypto, so you know whether you need to top up before the period ends.
If a crypto payment does not confirm
Confirmation usually takes a few minutes. If your account has not unlocked after a reasonable wait, check that the transaction confirmed in your wallet first. If it confirmed on your side but your account did not unlock, contact support with the transaction reference. See payment declined or stuck for more.
