Billing
Saved payment methods
SpiceMatch can save an eligible card through CCBill so a later credit recharge or subscription checkout can be shorter. CCBill tokenizes the card. SpiceMatch stores the token reference and safe display details, but not the full card number or security code.
What SpiceMatch stores
For a saved card, the account can retain:
- CCBill's token or subscription reference;
- card brand and last four digits;
- expiration month and year;
- an optional nickname, order, and which card is the default.
The full number and CVV are entered in CCBill's secure card component and are not stored as ordinary SpiceMatch account data.
Supported cards
The current card allowlist supports Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and JCB. A brand can still be declined by the issuer, CCBill, regional rules, age verification, or a risk check. The checkout shows the methods available for that specific purchase.
Add a card
- Sign in and open Me, then Payment method.
- Choose Add card. Card entry opens in CCBill's secure tokenization flow.
- Review the masked card details and choose whether it should be the default.
If a setup session expires, refresh the payment-method screen and start a new session. Do not send card numbers through chat or support email.
Choose a default, reorder, or remove a card
The default card is tried first for eligible saved-card payments. In Payment method, select a different active card to make it the default. You can also reorder eligible backup cards. Removing a card revokes its saved payment method for future use; it does not erase completed billing history or cancel an existing subscription by itself.
One-tap recharge
A saved card can shorten a later recharge because the full number does not need to be entered again. It is not permission for automatic top-ups. SpiceMatch still shows the product, amount, and confirmation action, and CCBill or the issuer may require another security check before approval.
Failed or expired cards
An expired, revoked, unsupported, or issuer-declined card is not treated as a successful payment. Choose another saved card, add a current card, or use another available checkout method. The product flow should return to the item you were trying to open rather than show a false fulfillment state.
Billing descriptor and support
The exact statement descriptor is shown at checkout before confirmation. If the masked card looks unfamiliar, a charge is wrong, or a card cannot be removed, do not post payment details in public chat. Use contact support or ask Madame V from the help widget with only the date, amount, and masked last four digits needed to locate the issue.
