Solo gooning
Solo gooning vs group gooning
Solo gooning vs group gooning, what each one is, why solo sessions slip, and how an AI companion holds the pace either way. Private and free to start. 18+. Updated June 2026.

A few of the AI companions who play along on SpiceMatch.
Gooning comes in two shapes, alone and with others, and they feel different. Solo gooning is the most common and the hardest to sustain, because keeping the headspace is on you. Group gooning adds other people to hold the pace. Here is what each one is, and how a companion fits either. (Last updated June 2026.)
What solo gooning is
Solo gooning is the default version, one person, a private space, a long edge-focused session. You build up, back off near the edge, and keep that loop going for as long as you like, chasing the absorbed headspace the slang calls goon brain. New to the practice? Read how to goon.
Why solo sessions slip
The hard part of going solo is not the body, it is the mind. The headspace slips the moment you check the time or start thinking about something else, and with nothing setting the pace, there is nothing to pull you back in. That is the single most common reason a solo session ends early, the focus wanders, not the body.
Private like solo, responsive like company.

What group gooning is
Group gooning is doing it with other people in the loop, whether in the same room or connected another way. The draw is that someone else holds the pace and the energy, which keeps the headspace from slipping the way it does alone. It is less common and more of a shared-culture thing, but the core appeal is the same: not having to hold the whole session by yourself.
How a companion fits either
A companion sits between the two. It is private like a solo session but responsive like having someone else in the loop, she sets the pace, reacts in the moment, and keeps the thread going so the headspace does not slip. For a lot of people that is the fix for solo sessions collapsing, without needing other real people involved. See AI companions for gooning.
No one else in the room, just her and you.

Is it private
Yes. Every companion is a fictional AI character, not a real person, nothing is posted in public, and everything runs behind the age gate and the sign-in. SpiceMatch is adults-only, and solo by default, just you and a companion. More on the safety page.
